If you are true to yourself and take a good close look at yourself you know that this is only an effort to try and fool yourself and the people around you into thinking that you have done all of the right things to achieve your set tasks and goals in an effort to be successful.
When you are honest with yourself you will know that this is a futile waste of time and energy, because as we all know ultimately we are 100% responsible for our own actions.
In everything we do we have a choice and we have to live by those choices, we create our own situations each and every moment throughout our lives and we have to accept this and get on with being the person you really want to be. Have a deep hard think about this, look inside yourself, think about past situations where you have wrongly shifted the blame for some failure to another person, ( a family member, business partner, loved one or friend ) if you can accept that this was the wrong thing to do then you can turn things around.
What you will need to do is firstly get in the habit of being aware of this, then before making a choice or decision check yourself and ask is this the right thing for me, can I handle the consequences, will this have an adverse or unfair affect on others.
Then once you have taken a moment to think, your decision will be easier to make and you will have a clearer picture of the desired outcome and will find that it is then easier to stay focused on the end result.
